Scar 17s the true standard for rifles

Recommendation Status-  Highly RECOMMENDED

  • Well Built and Nicely weighted

  • Comes with a fantastic muzzle brake on it
  • Looks badass
  • Supposed to be sub 1 moa
  • Fn Quality and standards
  • Built in iron sights
  • Fantastic ugg boot acr stock however a bit tight 
  • Can use a ar15 grip with minor modification
  • Plenty of rail space 
  • Adjustable gas regulator for use with suppressor 
  • Enlarged trigger guard for easier access when wearing gloves
  • Ambidextrous selector lever and magazine release
  • Charging handle may be mounted on right or left side
  • Adjustable cheek-piece
  • Telescoping design
  • Side-folding stock for aircraft and vehicle deployments; can still be fired from the folded position 

 

      Cons

  • Has to mod to use ar grips
  • Has to mod to use 308 fal mags
  • Takes proprietary mags
  • Aftermarket stuff expensive
  • Mags overpriced

 

Personal opinions

So i haven't had a opportunity to put the ar grip id like on my scar yet so im not too fancy on the grip, however its a fantastic shooter, it feels so smooth to fire. The weight to size ratio feels good its not too heavy in the front or back it feels smoothly spread out. Mags are easy to load, and haven't given me any personal issues, im about 400 rounds in without a hiccup, the gun was sold to me lightly used but you could tell it was very seldom fired so yeah, But id say this is def my favorite gun in my arsenal. Also as stated above it has super scar from the seller so i didn't get to try the original trigger.

Mine came with super scar trigger so i wont comment on base trigger

mine came with mrex rail extension so cant speak on original rail 

A scar 17s isn't much diff from a scar 20, scar 20 is just a added precision stock, super scar trigger, and a extended rail + longer barrel 

People say you cannot suppress this or it will void warranty this is fake news the website shows it suppressed and one of the features it lists is that it can be suppressed and offers adjustable gas this is why you don't listen to fucking retards on reddit
